BCcampus continues to work toward a You-Tube like video shared service in partnership with BC's public post secondary institutions. BCcampus director Lawrence Parisotto, who has overall responsibility for shared services, sent out a summary of the actions taken to date and next steps including diagrams for requirements gathering and a scheduled next meeting date of April 29, 2011.

As part of my work supporting the development of a BCcampus video shared service I've been investigating video use in education and exploring the disruptive impact video's new participatory form is having on everything from the way faculty teach to student generated video assignments.
